The Village Council is the first tier of local government in North East Lincolnshire for the people of Humberston.
Humberston Parish Council has 12 Council seats available for members and it meets for its main monthly Council meeting on the first calendar Tuesday of each month.
The meetings commence at 7.15 pm unless otherwise advertised, and the press and public are very welcome to attend. The meetings are held in the Queen Elizabeth II Hall. There is an opportunity for members of the public to speak on matters on the agenda or to raise any other issues with the Village Council.
There is also usually a meeting of the Planning Committee which is usually held on the third calendar Tuesday of each month at 7.00 pm in the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Please check this on the agenda page as the meeting is not always held - it depends on the number of planning applications received. Again, agendas are published on the Wednesday of the week before any Planning Commitee meeting and are on this website.

At the meeting, a copy of the agenda is projected for everyone to see and all planning application information is downloaded and projected so that everyone can see the plans. The Village Council has a policy of reducing paper usage so there are no paper copies of the agenda availalbe at meetings.
